“Campaigning with Lee” is an annual one-week long Civil War seminar, occuring in the third week of June, beginning on Father’s Day. Dr. James I. (Bud) Robertson is the founder of this event, and the attendees are affectionately known as “Bud’s Brigade.” The 2008 seminar was the 30th in the series and was held at The Inn at Virginia Tech, on the Virginia Tech campus.
The 2009 seminar was held in Charleston, South Carolina, beginning on Sunday, June 21. Eighty-one Campaigners enjoyed one of the very best of the seminars. You can look at the speakers and talk titles by double-clicking on “Seminar History” above.
Our 2010 plans are to go to Antietam / Sharpsburg, again, during the week of June 20-26. When the hotel is “locked in” we will let you know so that firm plans can be made. Until then, encourage your friends and family to join us for the 32nd edition of “Campaigning with Lee.”
