We (Stan and Mary Cross) continue to hope that we can one day get back to the CWL seminars that we enjoyed so much for several years. We appreciate being kept on the email list so that we can be updated on the events and lives of the friends whom we made during those summers.
Can’t offer much in the way of specific details but the first week that we attended was in the late ’80’s, the first of the two years at the University of Richmond. It was the year of the lobster bake given by someone from Maine. (I know that has nothing to do with the Civil War but it was definitely memorable.) In 1995 the campaign was at Chattanooga. Certainly there are many more memories that we enjoy from the other years that we attended, and, as I said, we hope to rejoin the group at some time in the future. Stan retired this year and we will have more time in which to schedule trips. Thank you for your efforts to record all the details.
